Allow for related Key Events to share information
#1
The new data model must explicitly include the concept of related KEs whereby they share some (but not all) of the same features, which could represent a source of crosstalk between AOPs containing those KEs that is distinct from the sharing of a single KE.

This data model should also facilitate the reuse of this shared information among those related KEs to avoid increasing the burden on KE authors.

Related to this, the new data model should facilitate the computational identification of "SODA" - same object, different action. For example, estrogen receptor agonism and estrogen receptor antagonism are separate events in the AOP-Wiki, but they represent opposing actions on the same biological object. For many AOP network applications its important to be able to identify these SODAs in a network.

Absolutely! And tagging of KEs by appropriate ontology teems should help. More to come on presentation at SKIG on 28 July 2023.
